3x = More reps. More skill. More fun.
3x Lacrosse is a fast, small-sided version of the game designed for creativity, quick decision-making, and nonstop touches. Played 3-on-3 with a smaller goal and no goalies, players rely on stick skills, movement, and teamwork to score.
It’s high tempo, fun, and perfect for developing off-ball movement, stick control, and field awareness in a relaxed, competitive setting. Every player is constantly involved — no standing around, just pure lacrosse.

Gameplay (www.3xlacrosse.com)
Everyone plays with a regular short stick.
Game ball is a tennis ball or soft lax ball.
Three players per team on the field at once with no designated positions. Max 4 players including a sub.
In tournament play, open round games are 7-10 minutes long, and the team ahead at the end of regulation time is the winner. If the game is tied at the end of regulation time, then a golden goal overtime period is played and the next goal wins.
NO HARD STICK CHECKS. NO BODY CHECKS. MINIMAL CONTACT.
Field of Play
The games will be played like half court basketball – one goal with teams switching positions on a possession change.
There is no out of bounds, just like the original game the Native Americans played (except if the ball goes in the field of play of another game).
There will be a checkpoint approximately twenty feet in front of the goal.
Equipment
Players are to wear the following equipment:
Boys should wear a lacrosse helmet with a protective facemask and gloves
Girls should wear either eye protection and a mouth guard or a lacrosse helmet with a protective facemask.
Officiating & Coaching
Every game will have an official. Enforcement of rules, penalties & fouls are determined by the officials.
*Games will ADHERE to official 3x lacrosse Rules but will not be limited to said rules - https://www.3xlacrosse.com/the-game/official-rules/
Coaching will be supported by the official and the director (Tim Conner)
